The Fraternal Order of Police is the world's largest organization of sworn law enforcement officers, with more than 346,000 members in more than 2,100 lodges. We are the voice of those who dedicate their lives to protecting and serving our communities. We are committed to improving the working conditions of law enforcement officers and the safety of those we serve through education, legislation, information, community involvement, and employee representation. No one knows the dangers and the difficulties faced by today's police officers better than another officer, and no one knows police officers better than the FOP.
Founded in 1915, we are still "Building on a Proud Tradition."
Macon Jackson Lodge #81
Macon-Jackson Fraternal Order of Police Lodge #81 was Chartered in 2002, with 29 members. Lodge #81 has become very involved in supporting both local Law Enforcement Officers and the communities we serve. We are funded primarily by membership dues from active or retired Law Enforcement Officers.
In order to fund our many community & charity programs we depend on the support of the citizens and businesses of Macon & Jackson County. FOP Lodge #81 appreciates your past support and it is our hope you will continue to help fund our programs when called upon.
Although our main objective is to insure that our local agencies and officers obtain the needed equipment and a have a voice with the government agency they work for, FOP Lodge #81 is also there to support the family when a loved one has fallen in the line of duty.
